Saturday-Sunday 1-2 Andros Island

Two-day tour of the island. We will walk along beautiful paths, swim in beaches with crystal clear waters and visit the island’s main village. A visit to the magical island of Andros that you will never forget. Accommodation in campsites and rooms in Gavrio. Leaders: P. Siabanos, E. Gasparaki

 

Saturday-Sunday 1-2 VARDOUSSIA Korakas ridge-Vardousia

Departure on Saturday to Athanasios Diakos and camping at Prophet Εlias.

Sunday: Ascent to Korakas (2495m) via Korakas ridge (alpine ridge with II and III grade passes and 2 rappel). Hours: 10+ / Difficulty: 4+ / Elevation dif: 1200 m This is a technical climb aimed for climbers who have completed at least a beginner’s school and are systematically engaged in climbing. Sunday 9 PARNASSOS – Nipsi

First ascent for AOS on a demanding peak of Parnassos. Starting from Ano Tithorea, walk through the forest and then in the alpine field. Route with much elevation and hard slopes. For climbers in very good physical condition. Hours: 9 / Difficulty: 2 / Elevation dif: 1400 m Leaders: H. Plegas, M. Bakousis

 

Sunday 9 ZIREA – Flambouritsa Gorge

Hiking in Flambouritsa valley, in a great pine forest, ending at Sytha springs. Hours: 5 /Difficulty: 1 / Elevation dif: 350 m. Suitable for beginners. Leaders: G. Hontos, D. Triantafillou

 

Saturday-Sunday 15-16 TAIGETOS – Prophet Elias 2407m

Saturday: Departure from Athens to Maganaris springs. Ascent and overnight stay at EOS Spartis refuge. Hours: 2-3 / Difficulty: 1 / Elevation: 640 m Sunday: Group A: Circular route from the refuge to Agios Dimitrios and to the top of Prophet Elias. Return via the refuge to Maganaris springs. Hours: 9-11 / Difficulty: 3 / Elevation dif: +1300m -1450m Group B: From the refuge to the top of Prophet Elias and return. Hours: 6 / Difficulty: 2 / Elevation: +800m -1450m Leaders: G. Sunday the 16th PARNITHA – Via Ferrata route (LAGROTA)

The route is established above the Goura gorge . Off-trail and climbing skills required. Equipment: Via Ferrata Set, climbing harness, helmet, 2 locking carabiners. Hours 4-5 / Difficulty: 2+ / Elevatio: 350 m Leaders: G. Kaikousidis, X. Plegas

 

Sunday the 23rd ORTARI 869m – Kymi Evia

Transport by bus to Choneutiko Springs area. Ortari is a high vertical slope, facing the sea. The demanding hiking route is worth for the amazing view of the Aegean Sea. Transport to Kymi for lunch. Return to Athens. Hours: 7 / Difficulty: 2 Elevatio: 700 m Leaders: L. Gavogiannis, G. Vassilopoulos

 

Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday 27-28-29-30 TYMFI

Mikro Papigo – Astrakas Refuge – Drakolimni Gamila I – Gamila II.

Departure Thursday evening to Mikro Papigo. Friday: Ascent to the Astraka Refuge (hours: 4, 1.000 m elevation). After settling in and a rest, we will take the route to Drakolimni (Dragon’s lake) of Tymfi (hours 2.5 – 300 elevation).Return to the Refuge for the night. Saturday: climb to the tops of Tymfi Gamila 1 and Gamila 2. Return to the refuge for the night. (hours 7 – Elevation 900) Sunday: Descent to Mikro Papingo and return to Athens.
